Really nice, Tom (@tcinla), and done very quickly. What is next on the hit parade?

    G'day Tom (@tcinla),
    This is a great build.
I've never come across a 4 canon Mk VIII before - where did you get the information on this aircraft from?

@michaelt - I can't remember where, it was in an article about building his airplane back in the 80's, but the information was that 80 Group was primarily doing ground attack, so weighing the airplane down with two more cannon and dropping the relatively-useless (for strafing) .303's made sense. I long wanted to do this, but the problem was all the kits had a "solid" upper wing and there wasn't a cannon cover to be found - then Eduard came along with both the cover and the extra cannon.

@gblair - I've gotten some Overtrees for the "Vb (late)" release, and I have the old Gartex kit to do the Vb floatplane. I've been fiddling with it, and converting an Eduard kit to become the floatplane isn't hard at all - and it's far better than the old Hasegawa kit that this conversion was done for. In fact I am already "at it."

So many Spitfires... so little time... 🙂

You can have an entire Spitfire shelf, Tom (@tcinla). I think I saw the Gartex kit on Rareplanes-Detective website for just a few bucks. Is it worth getting?
