Your interior looks great, John (@johnb), and it seems to match the photo I had. I think I will go with something very similar.
@gblair, thanks George. Looking forward to your interior.
Thanks my friend @johnb!
Interior is mounted on the bottom plate.
Cockpit mounted and exhausts look great, my friend @johnb!
Looks great, John (@johnb). Everything is coming together.
@fiveten, @gblair, thanks a lot.
Nice looking progress, John!
Rear gun attached, supported from my not that hitech rig π
@Fiveten I began to assemble a few parts before any painting stage, namely the nose area and the radiator area below the fuselage. I always use Tamiya extra thin glue but the AM plastic seems all too impervious to it! Been forced to use CA so far. I would like to ask you and also John if you had this issue or if not what glue are you guys using?
I used my usual Revell contacta styrene glue and had no issues, my friend @holzhamer. I did not notice any difference compared to other styrene. I might assume that your copy's styrene presented kind of discrepancy?
@holzhamer, I have been using Revell contacta as well and all parts glued together quite nicely.
@inflames, thanks a lot, Sebastijan
Really nice placement of the rear gun, Spiros @fiveten A step which I can skip.
@fiveten
@johnb
Thanks mates, Revell contacta will be! I completely forgot I have this glue in the toll box
The plastic from my AM box is hard and quite brittle, and since itβs my only AM kit I have no comparison rule with their later kits. One thing is certain, I prefer the softer plastic from most other manufacturers out there
