I used the kit supplied vinyl masks on the canopy. I used these on the Dora Wings P-43 and surprisingly found they worked well. Same story here but pay attention to their corners if you use them. I’ve needed to repeatedly burnish them down with a tooth pick.

I hit the canopy frames with a light coat of Humbrol interior green first. I’m using Xtracolor US Southeast Asia greens on this one. I got the lighter one on today. I’ll do the darker tomorrow.

NEIAF veterans describe the two Dutch greens, “New Leaf” and “Old Leaf”, as being very similar to American SEA colors. Good enough for me.

Both greens are now applied. I’ll let it harden up for a couple of days and get the decals on it and finish up.

Yes, George. The NEIAF is a fascinating but neglected subject. Lots of interesting planes. Various Fokkers , Do-24, Wal, Buffalo, CW-21/22, Curtiss Hawk, Hurricane, P-40, etc….
