F 84 E 1/72 Academy.

    Well here is my first WIP, a F 84 E, I brought on sale at my local model shop now closed down. I have had no real problems with the build apart from a little warping of the fuselage, but nothing that abit of glue and a firm grip for a few minutes couldnot sort out.

    The decals though are a different kettle of fish though.
    Thick and rather in-flexible, I am going to order an A/m set on line.

    Then down to Priming and painting, but I will wait until I have the decals so that I can check the colour scheme.

    Until then its finish off a couple more builds and maybe start another.

    This is a great kit, IIRC totally in pair with Tamiya's excellent F-84G in the same scale.

    I agree about the Academy decals, though. There used to be a decent choice of good aftermarket sheets, from Aeromaster which should still be available (are from Sprue Bros).
