    Hello guys

One of my favorite aircraft, the "ugly" Freccia it's now on my bench.

Started some week ago, I'm quite at the final touches, weathering and adding details(pitot tube, antenna, Venturi tube, wings weights).

Very nice kit from SBS Models, all in resin, with PE parts for cockpit, metal landing gear. Had some fit problems with wings-fuselage joints, but overall I'm quite pleased with the result. Maybe just because it is my first resin kit.

Painted with Mr.Paint Italian range of colors, Giallo Mimetico 2 / Verde Oliva Scuro upperside and Grigio Azzuro for the underside. Decals were just fine, reacted well at MicroSet/Microsol treatment.

    See you soon

It is hard to believe this is a 1/72d scale kit. Your build looks great and I always admire someone that can paint the spots in a paint scheme like this. The photo that shows your painted spots compared to the color diagram clearly shows your attention to detail. Great looking model, Bogdan.

I have a dumb question. How do you use the watercolor pencils? Do you simply use them to apply pigment to your model, or do you apply the pigment from the pencils and then apply water to make them more like a wash?

Not a dumb question at all.
For the metallic points I just apply the pigment(chips or scratches) on the wanted area, cleaning the excess with a dry brush.
For areas where I want to represent some dirt/rainmarks/grime I apply various colors of pigments and at the end I blend them with a wet brush.
