Just want something simple to finish this weekend. Finishing these might also get me motivated to finish the whole kit. The time is 21:30 central. The kit? Four of the Ryan Firebees from Italeri's 1/48 DC-130!

Great idea, Josh @jpatt1000! Had found this kit resting unsold at my local hobby shop, about year 2005, at a ridiculous price (something like 30 euros...)...did not buy it and now I regret I did not... This is such a cool configuration for a C-130!

Not to mention colorful! I will have to build the two drone controller stations in the cargo bay though. Otherwise OOB. I have the AC-130 and an early Herc in natural metal too.
Colorful scheme it is. Nice progress!
48 hours, need to press the throttle for that. Good luck, Josh.
Leaned back, popcorn poppin' and watching life in the fast lane from across the pond. Go for it!
Trim painted. Waiting for main color coat. I need to devise a way to hang them to paint.
Looking good Josh, can you thread a piece of curved wire in through one of those holes and out the other !
Looking great Josh @jpatt1000! I like the F-94 and YF-16 as well! Sticking carefully a wooden wet toothpick in the bigger hole might result in a solid handle...but you've probably found a solution already #
Apart from the Ryan sppedbuild being inspiring, I do like the "sideprojects". Keep'em comin'
Some nice progress, Josh. Seems like you are going to achieve it within the 48 hours.
Nice-looking builds, all coming along nicely, Josh (@jpatt1000). Plus Model makes a couple of sets of models for 1/72 Firebee drones, both early and late versions. They also come with pylons. I haven't built them yet, but they look pretty nice.
