    Hi all -

I'm about to tackle this old kit purchased for pennies on the dollar on eBay. It has all of the stock parts. The color guide is found wanting, however. I know RAAF colors start and end with foliage green, but what about the other colors? The cockpit, wheel wells, propeller tips, engine cowlings, etc. Any recommendations?

    Thank you!

    Adam, this might help:

Camouflage and Markings of the Bristol Beaufighter
I would guess the interior color would be British interior green, or an approximation thereof. Props are standard black blades with yellow tips, hubs were usually either black or silver. I've read that RAAF foliage green varied widely in shade, so check your references if you're doing a specific airplane. I converted a couple of those old Frog kits to Mk II's a long time ago, using the Merlin engines from a Revell Lancaster. It was a cool build, wish I knew what happened to them!

    Thanks Jamie - great advice.

Joe - I'll send you an email.

I'm looking forward to start this kit after the holidays.
