Pretty much just need to finish the landing gear, doctor up the cowl and spray another coat and this baby is ready to go! I did repaint the pushrod tubes black from my customary chrome as this is how they are on Kermit Weeks' replica Z.
I also bought some flat Evergreen strip for the bottom rear brace on the tail as the kit pieces didn't look right.
I think some sunset photos will definitely be in the cards for the finished product as it's colors look particularly nice in the evening!
