Thanks my friend @johnb! Masking the gray areas would be the best, I was just too lazy! ...and have to check if some overspray has occurred...

Masks removed, some overspray was lightly wiped off with a cotton bud moistened with thinner. Here she is, side by side with her future enemy...

Next are the yellow leading edges,
    Thanks for stopping by!

    Making great progress, Spiros @fiveten.
    Colors look great.
The BV212 appears to be bigger than I thought.
Looking forward to the yellow edges.

    Decals on
Last weekend I applied the decals and stencils, not that many but those English letters occupy quite some part of the fuselage.
Next another layer of coating prior to weathering.

Both models are coming along nicely. Camo looks great, Spiros (@fiveten). Decals really make a big difference and look like the went on well, John (@johnb).

    Your Typhoon looks gorgeous!
Meanwhile, I painted the yellow lines, not the biggest of dramas, just some slippage, easily touch-up-able!

    Looking forward to your progress!

@gblair, thanks George, yes the decals came on nicely, only it took a lot of time before they came lose from the carrier. Especially the larger ones took more than five minutes.
@fiveten, thank you Spiros, yours looking great as well and with your experience those corrections will be done easily.

Fantastic guys @johnb, @fiveten. The Typhoon's are looking way better than mine. This remind me to complete the restoration of mine and to start the exact same kit. I was a bit too late and had to finish my other project, otherwise I would have been glad to participate in this COMBO BUILD

    Decaling almost done...

Apart from the "ivorizing" white and the eternity they took to detach from their backing paper, decals were top class.
    Thanks for stopping by!

    Looks great, Spiros @fiveten
I can confirm those eternity moments for the decals to detach. Positive side is that they came on very nicely, like seen on your Typhoon.

Decals look great on both planes, Spiros (@fiveten) and John (@johnb). I build a lot of older planes and the older decals also take a long time to start moving freely on the backing paper, especially if I have had to spray some clear on the decals to keep them from disintegrating.
