Done some work on the final details of the cockpit.

The seatbelts are fixed far behind the headrest and I tried to create this by using masking tape.

Gunsight, a transparant part ofcourse, is attached as well.

The signal light behind the headrest is provided as a transparant piece, it was however so small that during handling with the tweezer I heard this not wanted 'snap' sound. Ofcourse the part jumped somewhere but a quick look did give no signs of it. Because of the size and being transparant I decided to not spent time on searching. To create the bulb I used a drop of Revell contacta clear and it turned out very well.

Really beautiful job, my friend @johnb!
Love your seat belts rendition, catches the reality looks in excellence!
Great idea to use Contacta to recreate the mini transparency.
Looking forward to your super build!

@fiveten, good progress Spiros, it required however more putty than I thought.

Did some work on my Typhoon as well.
The masked car door canopy is applied and the fitting was really nice.
Also the cannon barrels are applied and levelled.

Identification light at the bottom of the fuselage attached as well using contacta clear.

Coming along nicely, John (@johnb). I'm not sure how you and Spiros work on so many models at the same time, but somehow you manage to keep them all moving forward and looking great.

    @fiveten, @gblair, @tcinla, @mvtb, thanks for the compliments.

George, since last week I have a larger workbench, making it easier to leave the builds in progress on the table. Although already after one week the bench is fully occupied.

    Polishing
The Typhoon has been wet sanded and polished.
To my idea she is ready now to receive the primer.
Let's see what the primer reveals.

@johnb Did you use some special products for polishing?

@lis, you can call it 'special', but it is easy to get. For finer polishing I simply use toothpaste, it has sufficient grinding effect but at a very fine level.

    Primer time
After grinding it was time to start on priming.
At first I applied the interior color on the canopy so it will be visible from the inside.

Next a round of primer which ofcourse revealed some anomalies but those were minor and easy to correct. Second round of primer is applied now.
