    Top camo started
    This morning the first color of the top side camouflage was applied, dark green. Vallejo 71.324.

    Masking done with patafix and masking tape.
    Unfortunately one of the cannons did not survive the masking process.

    And Ocean grey is painted as well.
    Also the cannon is back on its place.

    Once the paint has dryed it is time to carefully remove the masks, a nerve wracking process.

    Great masking and painting! What type of this white putty did you use? PS. If I broke sth usually I have furious attack 😉

    @fiveten, thanks my friend
    @lis, thanks. Vallejo plastic putty is what I use most for smaller corrections.

    Camo done
    Masking has been removed and thankfully no paint came off.
    Some minor touchups to be done before clearcoat will be applied.

    Nice job on the camo, John (@johnb). I have never used putty to mark out the camo, but the great job you have done with it has convinced me I need to give it a try.

    @gblair, Thanks George, the putty was not used for marking out the camo. Reading back I seem to have misunderstood the question of Lis @lis. The white stuff used for outlining the camouflage is patafix.

    Thanks, John (@johnb). I wasn't clear, either, I was using the word "putty" for "patafix". I use the term "camo putty" for anything you can roll into long strips and mark out the camo edges.
