    Started a couple of weeks ago. Very nice kit, builds easily with just a couple of very small blending issues. Roll-over bar above & behind the pilots seat is way to fragile, lost count of how many times it's snapped off, but otherwise, excellent.

    One of my favorite planes, Ian (@ij001). They always look cool and menacing, but I can't imagine what they were like to fly. Is this 1/48, or is it the strain my eyeballs scale?

    Airfix 1:48 Ju87R update:
    Main paint done. All Tamiya acrylics. Mixed my own 'Schwarzgrun', 'Dunkelgrun' is JA Green and 'Hellblau' is Light Blue straight from the jar. Yep those annoying wee spots on the top of the wing are gone now !. C, C & Q's welcome.

    Nice looking Stuka, Ian (@ij001). I really like the new Airfix kits, especially 1/48. The yellow nose on this model really helps it to stand out. Sounds like a quick build.

    Very cool Ian (@ij001). Nice paintwork and I agree with George, Airfix kits may not be the best out there, but they do have a nice selection of choices and I would rate them up high compared with the other "dinosaur companies".
