Hello folks, and there we go for another Belgian Air Force aircraft. I was pretty pleased with the Kinetic models I did with the Mirage so I decided to continue with them

. My usual purchaser for the Belgian decal does not have anymore the ones for the viper, I eventually found them in Poland from model maker decals.

Slowly starting. At first sight the kit is as usual well detailed but some parts are from poor quality, some oily sheen are on the surface. But ok nothing dramatic so far.
As usual, I start with the cockpit, my favorite step.

    Good start, Yann @yann
Interior building is also one of my favorite parts of modelling.

Welcome aboard mates! The usual gang @airbum, @johnb, @fiveten!

    Progress of the day:

    IP and side panels

For the black interior I'm using my 'Black Pit' mix of gloss and matte black the MFD got a coat of gloss black afterwards. For the alarm panel located on the upper left I use a Kaki paint.

Regarding the seat, I didn't know exactly what to choose. On the latest pictures I saw from a BAF F-16A it was pretty cozy cushion on the seat, so I chose the Navy blue, what do you think guys?

Just need to add the harnesses and painted the head rest in a darker color.

    Nice detailed painting, Yann @yann
That black mixture does look very good.
Regarding the cushion, I have no idea what the original color should be.
This Navy blue does look good.

Thanks gents. Regarding the seat it's a little more black on this picture but I found it as well in dark blue...

In the mean time I assembled the cockpit except the seat which is coming later as per the 'plan'.

Talking about the instruction it's a real nightmare. Parts are not marked or wrongly named. I will show it on a later post.

Great work @yann - the interior is looking amazing. Shame about the bad instructions.

    Beautiful cockpit, my friend @yann!
Regarding the instructions (and paraphrasing the old joke):

Instructions? Instructions? We don't need no stinkin' instructions!

Thanks gents, @johnb, @anthonyricco, @fiveten. Latest update on the Viper:

Intern fuselage painted in my 'Pit black'

But after some research, the black go all the way aft of the rear canopy. This will need some adjustment.

Starting the landing gear bay and aft air intake with some deatils.
