This is a bigger project I started a couple of months ago, gotten a little bit of a start anyway.

I have pretty much all the aftermarket there is for this one except the landing gear, which MAY be needed but is too expensive...

I began with the cockpit, carving away some details that were not really there in the back seat, added a map-case out of styrene sheet, and PE by Eduard. I also added 2 "Grimes Lights" the little cockpit map lights, out of styrene tubes and brass rod, as well as wire. Nothing too sophisticated.

Onto the wings, I added 2 styrene spars to hold the wings straight as the lap joint for the outer and inner parts are not particularly big. I have seen this done previously on a similar build.

The seats are from AMS models, and are correct. the kit seats aren't horrible, but they have the parachute pack on the same side, and lacked some fidelity in my opinion. The ones pictured still need to have the Ejection handle and the emergency belt release added.

    Cheers
    H.

Harald...Did you finish it? I just started the "D" version. Anything you could share would be appreciated.

No, I put it aside for a 1 year build on another "channel" but I will hopefully get time for it on my nexttime off starting in a couple of days.
