Looking good, Bryan. Looks like you have a bit more real estate there than in the place you had here!

A little more, Jaime. If I consolidate (throw out) a bunch of stuff I'd be better off. Painting this thing is going to be a fume-a-rama as I have little ventilation short of an open door.

It's been a long road since my last posting.
In a nutshell, I managed to cause myself to do literally everything at least twice, if not three times. In some cases another go was probably warranted.
Focus at this point is to further tone down large expanses of blue and white. I attempted to vary shades and tones during application. Still many hours from complete.

Bryan, outstanding work. I can't see any flaws, it's come together beautifully. Well Done! Good luck with the tonedown, got a lot of area to do that on.

SO jealous! I wish you could still get these sets as I would like to have a Privateer in my fleet! I'm surprised at how little of the B-24 fuselage remains! I wonder why he didn't just go for an all new fuselage? Although, it does look like you have a lot more leverage for your nose weight! I'm building a D right now and I'm running out of room for the lead! (Getting Terry Dean weights for my J as they worked great on my B-29.) This is looking fantastic though!

You still can get Koster kits-he's very much alive and well. I have three different flavors of experimental P-47 variants and a Focke Wulf Fw-200 as a result of visiting his home this past winter.

I just found one on E-Bay for $140. Maybe next Friday it will be mine!

    Josh,

You can get some Koster kits from Bill Koster directly, he still has some of them. I got Mitsubishi G3M Nell from him.

    Bryan,

Excellent job, I like it a lot.

    Regards

I've finished her up. Toned down, weathered to a slight degree and all the bits and pieces stuck on. Next posting will be elsewhere on this site.
These last few photos are the run-up to the next installment.
Thanks to all that have dropped in to follow my progress in what has been a learning experience to say the least. It's been fun.

Looking good man. Are you going to weather it at all? My buddy is currently doing a PB4Y-1 with the same conversion.
