Looking at that Green paint on the Starfighter has got me rethinking my Kinetic in natural metal. Maybe I should just buy a second one and have both! 🙂

Looks great so far Spiros (@fiveten)

    Thanks my friend @clipper!
Will be finished in Vietnam camo, the pattern will be identical to this one...

    That's a nice scheme, Spiros @fiveten
    Will look amazing when finished.
Wishing you a very nice holiday.

Working on a small upgrade of the C-2 seat. I will be adding a black/yellow marked handle, not sure what the correct naming is, and some mask tape seat belts which I painted linen.

@fiveten, thank you, Spiros. Trying to get the fuselage closed this evening.

With the seatbelts and the ejection handle added it was time to close up the fuselage.

Fitting was not entirely perfect so I aligned the upper side as good as possible. The bottom side definitely needs some attention.

Also the tail section is attached now, just a few points to clean up.

Looks great, John (@johnb). They all look remarkably similar at this stage. I need to get the tail on mine.

@gblair, thank you, George. Before attaching the wings I first want to clean up the seams.

John @johnb, those seatbelts look really nice!

That is my plan also, John (@johnb). It is a lot easier to smooth out the fuselage seams if you don't have to work around the wings. I am hoping to get the hobby room arranged enough to start work on the F-104 again.

    @fxrob, thank you, Felix
@gblair, a well arranged hobby room is something which makes it easier to find your tools. Looking forward to how it looks once all is in place.

I'm pretty sure that those sink marks are not present on the real plane.

Excellent job so far, my friend @johnb! I also had some sink marks at the same places and had to fill them.

@fiveten, thank you, Spiros. Those marks are usually not that easy to remove. How did you achieve that?
Currently I'm trying to use plastic putty for that.
