    @fiveten, thank you, Spiros

    @clipper, thanks, Carl. From what I remember, the Dutch 104s did carry wing tip tanks most of the time, so that is what I'm going for.

    @fxrob, thanks a lot, Felix.

    @j-healy, thank you, John.

    John (@johnb), I haven't researched the F-104 much yet, so I am unsure of how they carried missiles if the wing tip tanks were used. Perhaps they were limited to the gun. That seems unlikely. Maybe mounted to the fuselage? I'll have to go an see what I can find out, because the wing tip tanks really add to the look and I would want to include them on my build (whenever I get around to it). But I would also want to include missiles.

    @clipper, the wing tip tanks could be replaced with missiles. With wing tip tanks installed, they could carry them underneath the fuselage.

    Air intakes are on, as said by George @gblair previously, the fit is not that great and seams need to filled.

    Plastic putty did the trick. The canopy is masked. Both, canopy and wing tip tanks, are on temporarily for the picture.

    Priming will be next.

    First round of primer, which did of course reveal some areas of improvement.
