What an incredible build Spiros @fiveten
    A real work of art.
Your son's thumb up really expresses the look of this model.

Thanks for kind words John @johnb!
I kind of persisted with this (difficult) beauty of a kit.

Looks terrific, Spiros (@fiveten). You must have a real sense of accomplishment finishing this vacuform. Even in 1/72, it looks like the wingspan will really fill a lot of real estate on your display shelves.

    Thanks George @gblair!
Indeed I feel quite proud to have almost finished this vac.
It's by no means small: slightly smaller than a C-47.

Fitted the aerials (made out of stretched sprue, glued in place, tightened with a hairdryer and painted gun metal).

...fit was not easy, as the fins were thin, making it impossible to drill a receptacle hole...

Took quite a few trialanderror operations!

The wires meet the central antenna at different heights, which is interesting and looks nice!

Did the usual touchups at the wire attaching points..

    ...and call this baby done!

Thanks my friends for the lovely ride. Love your support!

    Off to the headlines!

    Oh...and then my Jake..

    ...and then my Korean Dakota...

    ...and then my leftovers 1/32 Su-27 and 1/72 He-177...

...oh, Louis @lgardner came up with the lovely idea af a Ki-45 Kai mini group inside the EoJ...

...oh and a 1/48 Draken will arrive with NO SoD time allowed!...

    ...and then...oh well...Happy modelling!

Looks terrific, Spiros (@fiveten). It is quite an accomplishment to finish a model that many of us wouldn't even attempt. The one good thing about vacuforms is that they are usually of planes that the mainstream manufacturers wouldn't release.

So true that vacs deal with obscure subjects.
    Thanks for foll0wing along!

Well done Spiros, unusual subject, difficult medium, you now have a rare model to show for all that effort, I have only used vacform for bits and pieces of a model !

Perseverence paid off, the Adolfine is here and it's complete, with its mistakes and faults, but here!
