Cockpit looks awesome, Erik (@airbum). Nice work on the tail. You would think the struts would insure that the horizontal tail surfaces would actually be horizontal, but they don't always work that way without some work on your part.

Absolutely a beautiful cockpit, Erik @airbum.
Revell contacta clear is indeed very helpful to correct some of those difficult areas.

Thanks for the comments gents – always welcome. @gblair, the Tamiya Emil has a flaw in the forms that ensures the tail is never straight unless you do something (like the alignment-check tool in your Spit build). @johnb, it is indeed. Thanks @fiveten.

    Flaps and slats

Holes in the flaps filled, slats on

The holes in the flaps need to be filled.

These were filled with evergreen and sanded.

    The slats were installed

using a pair of cut-offs to ensure they stayed open as the tabs had been cut.

next up it looks like the greenhouse goes on?

Swiss 109s had some really cool markings, Erik (@airbum). This one is getting close to painting.

    Flaps

Decided to get the flaps in place

Going through the large amount of 109E boxes, I decided to add flaps to the swiss plane

Rather simple job as all had been prepared.

now, might it be time to close the hood next – tune in and check!
