    Some updates.

I've finished with the wings and landing gear. Tail wheel was improved to increase structural strength. Engine was painted from the front, because it's the only (small) part of it, which would be seen through the intake.

Nice work, Dmitry (@starfar). Everything is coming together. There is very little of the engine that will be visible, so good call not doing a lot of work on it.

@fiveten @johnb @gblair Spiros, John, George – thank you! Yes, the engine is almost not visible:

Wheels were "improved" a bit, so I can paint it separately:

As a final touch I've installed the cowling, some other small parts, and that's it. Next is priming and fixing all issues I'll spot.

Great progress and indeed a great idea to mount the wheels this way, Dmitry @starfar

Great idea, Dmitry (@starfar). I try to do the same whenever the model has spats.

Before I'll start painting, I need to make a final decision about the scheme. And the major question for me was around serial number and will my cutter be able to actually cut it. I've spent some with that single photo trying to figure out actual size of the symbols on a fuselage. Looks like they was smaller than the standard tells, and I was trying to reproduce that. I'm not sure about rudder lettering – I think I will make it bigger, or maybe even the same size as on the fuselage. Anyways, as my cutter can do the job, I do with the RAAF scheme.

Also, I did wheel painting masks:

National insignia masks are also on its way.

    And the final checks.

Looks like a very good approach, my friend @starfar! If it looks right, it probably is.
