@gblair - if you have the Hasegawa Huricane IIb, it's easy to install the cannons from the Hobbycraft kit,

Great decal work, George. I enjoy seeing Monogram kits like this shape up so well. Like this Typhoon, the P-39 and P-47s are still worth building too.

    Thanks, Spiros (@fiveten).

Thanks, Tom (@tcinla). I have a couple of the Hasegawa Hurricance, one Mk I and one Mk II. I want to convert the Mk II in a Mk IID tank buster with desert markings. I read a great article about the exploits of these tank busters in North Africa.

Thanks, John (@j-healy). Monogram and Revell are still some of my favorites, and I have both the P-47 and the P-39 in a box in storage. We moved to our new house in December, so a lot of my unbuilt kits are still in our storage room here. I am slowly opening the boxes that contain my unbuilt models. I would be embarrassed to say how many boxes there are, but let's just say that I have enough kits to keep me busy for a long, long time.

    Absolute great progress, George @gblair
Both, camouflage and decals, do look great.
Eagerly waiting to see the mask come off.

Finally complete. I tried to keep the weathering restrained because the photos I have of the actual plane show a fairly clean airframe. I hope to post more photos in the Headlines section. Thanks to all of those who followed along. Cheers.

What a fantastic finish, my friend @gblair! Yet another unusual subject, perfectly rendered!
It was as always a pleasure to follow your thread.
    Congratulations!

Thanks, Spiros (@fiveten). This probably the most fun I have had building a kit for a while. I am still having problems uploading photos, but Martin knows about it and is working on it. Half of the photos I had for Headlines wouldn't upload. Cheers.

Indeed a great result, George @gblair
Your thread was very interesting, for both, learning about the photo recon variant and your building approach to create this variant of the Typhoon.
    Thanks.

Nice to have the pic's back in working order - very fine build and conversion, George.
