@f-104nut, this will definitely become a great group build with in the end a herd of fine looking Ponies. You are most welcome to build another one here.

You're off to a great start, George @gblair. The interior looks very nice, especially the chipping effects.

Thanks, Christopher (@brummbaer), Spiros (@fiveten), and John (@johnb). Since my last model was so clean, I needed to do some weathering for this one. I wouldn't worry about the small difference in the rudders, Christopher (@brummbaer). No one will ever notice the small difference in the rudder height, even if you display them side-by-side. Sorry you have been sick. Hope you are feeling better.

Got some more done while I was in the midst of trying to figure out my 3D resin printer I got for Christmas. Steep learning curve. :o) I finished the cockpit, inserted it in the fuselage, and the closed everything up. Seam across the top of the fuselage came out perfect, but the bottom seam will need a little work. Everyone have a great weekend.

The fuselage looks great assembled, as does the cockpit fitted into, my friend @gblair!

You have done a nice save on the PE panels George. The IP is very impressive @gblair!

Thanks, Spiros (@fiveten), John (@johnb), and Erik (@airbum). The skill is all in the Eduard's PE, all I do is glue it in. It is interesting how few parts this kit has compared to other kits.

@gblair, it takes more than just gluing, George. PE does help but how it looks in the end depends on the skills of the modeller. Looking to your progress, I'm eager to start with mine as well.

Ditto with our friend @johnb, my friend @gblair : I too vote for your exceptional skills in handling/using these PE parts.

I am back! I have posted the last couple of times on the wrong thread. I have been posting on a thread with a similar title started by Stephen (@stephen-w-towle). Sorry again, Stephen. I was looking for some info on the 108 gallon paper tanks, and found some interesting photos on the internet.

    George (@gblair) ,

No big deal (NBD). Great minds think alike and I have been looking over the fence repeatedly at your build off. Really, the only difference I see is a matter of scale. Like you , I like some of these Arma kits and my stash has a few 1/48 scale Mustangs. For now I'd like to finish these projects and not leave any loose ends. Then I would be open to catching up with this Mustang mafia and do some building in a group setting. Its all good and fun.

Stephen (@stephen-w-towle): I truly don't know much about Mustangs, which is why I like to do group builds. I have built several things in the last year that I probably wouldn't have built if I had not been part of a group. In addition, I research what I am building and learn about the planes. Win-win proposition. I am sure John and Spiros would welcome some more Mustangs in our group build if you have any interest in joining. This is my 2nd group build with Spiros and John, the first was an IL-2m3. Cheers.

No big deal indeed that you posted at the other thread, my friend @gblair.
    These are spectacular pics!
I too learn so many things while participating in a GB.
My friend @stephen-w-towle, you are most welcome to join us whenever you feel like!
