    Good evening ladies and gentlemen.

I’m unveiling my next build which will be the 1/48 MiniArt P-47D-30RA Advanced Kit. I will have this plane opened up with the included parts.

In addition, I also purchased a aftermarket decal set (debating if I wanna use or not) as well as Quinta Studio 3d interior decal set, Eduard seat belts, and Eduard masking. Lastly, I have some 3d printed engine parts that will allow me to open up the engine all the way to the firewall.

Originally I wanted to do the scheme “Big A*s Bird” but after looking through the instruction book from MiniArt, I’m really liking the scheme “Balls Out”

    “Balls Out”

    “Big A*s Bird”

Anyone think one scheme looks better over the other? I’d imagine the newer decals from MiniArt are superior to the dated decal set from Eagle Claw.

This build will be part of a competition with a due date of Aug 30 24. Gonna have to really bust my but on this one!

    Looking forward to it!
Both schemes are great, personally I am with you, liking the "Balls Out" more.

    Haha yeah @kahu. Thank you @johnb @fiveten

    All three cockpits complete:

    P-47

P-51(1) - I decided to hand paint the floors in this one to mimick wood. Plenty of P-51 had this wooden floor, and or rubber/metal:

P-51(2) - Slightly more weathered than the other. This will be the opened up P-51:
