Even more planned, that's good news.
Your builds are really eye catching, so a couple more would be awesome.
Your conversion is making great progress, Jim.

Successfully cast the first wing parts. They really came out crisp and smooth. Can’t wait to get building this one! Cowling plug is next and should be ready to cast by Friday.

Thanks! I can’t wait to start chopping in to the new kit. The part count continues to grow. Several on FB are asking if I’m doing the modified exhaust stacks and shortened prop. In all that would make the part count 19. I’m sure Tamiya would frown on a whole new kit 🙂

Starting chopping up a new kit for the new parts. These are dry fit and won’t take much filling to blend in with the normal panel lines. All the parts are made to fit within existing panels. The right gun bay will need a bit of an extension but it’s fairly simple. The vent doors can be positioned as far open or closed as you wish and faired into the wing. The wingtips will be added after it’s all glued together and shortened. Edit...couldn’t sleep so I glued up the wings and installed the resin parts. Tomorrow I’ll install the vent doors and seal up the panel lines with Tamiya filler.

The lower cowling is cast. From this piece I’ll carve in the panel lines, and dzus fasteners for the master mold. So far so good!
