    @gblair exactly George!
    my suggestions are as follows:
    Mustang MK. III
    Spitfire PR. IV from limited edition AA810
    Spitfire IXc Polish Fighting team Tunesia 1943 (on my stash)
    Spitfire XIV with Griffon engine. Mabye AZ or Sword? Or good old academy?- I heard It is quite good kit better than AZ.
    Spitfire IXe Sword

    I'm sure you will choose something cool, @lis. I think, for me, I would do the Spit PR, followed by the Mustang.

    Such a decision is always difficult, Lis @lis
    I run into that same 'problem' also each time when I start a new project.
    If a decision had to be made, I would also chose the Polish one.

    @fiveten @j-healy @johnb @gblair @airbum</a

    It will be a hard nut to crack... Polish Spitfire will be interesting, and I can a lot write for you about this team and pilots.

    But, lets back to work! Weathering by oil wash (Modelers World). Setting viefinder into canopy. Some smoke on barrels. But I don't like effect at all.

    I think your Spit looks remarkable, @lis. I use artist's oils for almost everything I do after I seal up the decals. I use artist pastel chalk to do the gun residue on the wings, as well as the exhaust from the engine. Pastels are fragile, but you can get some cool effects out of them. Looking forward to the last bits.

    @gblair I'm glad that you like my model 🙂 I used artist pastel chalk for gun residue as in photo: For basic weathering Oil Wash Modelers World - this product don't smell! I think it's very good product. I think I used to large brush to pastel chalk, and shades not delicate enough.

    To me it looks very nice, Lis @lis
    Sometimes I use airbrush to create these effects or Vallejo pigment.

    As usual 🙂 , you are too hard to yourself, my friend @lis! This is superb weathering, perfectly adapted to the scale!
