Looks great, @lis. For a long time I didn't see the need to use a primer on my models, and I preferred to put the color coats directly on the plastic. More recently, I really see how a primer helps create a good surface for painting, especially important if you use primer, photoetch, or resin.

Thank you my friends! A long time ago i didn't use primer, but after time when I started priming, painting get easier. Silver paint is hard to put without it. Also common colors over primer are better. Silver paint like black gloss primer. Rest of the models usually liked grey surfacer, but I like black primer under common paints too. It, could be a little darker but looks a little faded, amd i like this result. So black Mr surfacer I highly recommend! If you make Some stripes over green camouflage better is white primer. Primer make surface more smooth. It's very usefull after putting and sanding. You see all bulges that you need to sanding. This kit unfortunetly need a lot of sanding. If you have a lot of sanding you also need difficult rescribbing panels (I had to rescribed panels on wing tips and between fuselage and wings.

PS. I think on photo silver spitfire had 250lbs bomb. Eduard resin had a little bit different finns. If you are specialis about RAF bombs please write to me 🙂

@gblair I usually used decals, but kit don't have it. But during work with my last Vc prop, painted tips looks good so I decided to make it in the same way.
