Here is my landing gear for this 1/48 Revell Mosquito Mk IV I am building. This kit lacks much in detail, so I embellished the landing gear with very rough generalizations of additional struts or braces I observe in some old photos I find on line. And a cockpit photo too. All 5 parts of it..no wait, there's 6.

This kit was an impulse buy when I went to the hobby shop to get a little bottle of paint. /if you are wondering why the 3rd pic looks different - I used flash on it, not the others

Gotta love a Mossie ,right ? really lovely lines, I can't believe there isn't one in my stash...for now.If I was at that point of a build with those guns in place they would definately get snapped off , bits like that for me always go on at the very end.

Neil, Well you are right, those guns are a concern, but they go in from the inside and stick out, not inserted from the outside. If they did that I would surely wait until almost done as I am with some antennae. The guns have already got bent once, fortunately I was able to straighten them out and they create a problem masking for painting too. Oh well, that's the fun of it I guess!

As for the 'lovely lines' I couldn't agree more. when I got the fuselage together, I thought, 'wow, a Polaris sub"
