    I decided to take a short break from Japanese planes and I decided to test one of the Spitfire version. I wanted it to have a C-type wing and be from the fighting area in the Pacific and have a silver paint. It turned out that one of the Czech producers has a suitable model in his offer. I will try to deal with it and I hope that the effect will be satisfactory. I also apologize to all members of the EoJ group for my temporary absence.

    As I like to find extra work (and then complain about it), I came up with a version that has Westland type canon covers. These are resin parts from AML with a dedicated set of decals (purchased separately). Thanks to Erik here. Thanks to the hobby saw, it was possible to perfectly saw the above-described covers from the resin form. Let me mention that when cutting the resin, it smells very unpleasant with solvents. It cannot be denied that I am not a Spitfire specialist, so if I am doing something wrong please let me know. I would also like to add that the hull folded unexpectedly well (kit didn't have any montage pins!). Wings already worse, but acceptable. It seems to me that the company presents more or less Airfix level. Except that it has a much better material and definitely more interesting versions of painting.

    Looks great @lis. KP models used to be fairly simple affairs (similar to the old Airfix), but it looks like the newer kits are much nicer.

    @gblair
    Yes. It looks like new, much better molds. I bought this model after some research in YT. After some analysis it turns out that they are also the same forms from the AZ brand.

    PS. I made my first mistake. It turns out that the inside of the wing had to be painted, because in the darkness of the cabin you can see gray plastic under the pilot's floor. however, I found it pointless to tear my fresh glued (and quite good fitting) wings.

    You might call yourself to be not a specialist, but your progress is great, not different from a specialist, Lis. @lis
    Great work.

    @johnb thank you!

    the dust filter turned out to be very poorly made and fitted. There was putty and sanding. a few words about the manual. overall it can be said to be too simplistic. In addition, it shows elements such as a decal of a dashboard or belts, which are not included in the set. Unfortunately, Yahu models' instrument panel does not fit. it's a bit too wide. I managed to do this with wethering master set. It seems that the tropical Vc line was made next to the main versions of the model, because the normal lower engine housing fits correctly. The set also includes two versions of the wings (version B - not needed in this model and C) and as many as three propellers.

    Looking great, my friend @lis, including all improvements you make.
    About the unpainted wing inner surface, is it possible to apply some paint with a very thin brush?

    Thank you @fiveten . Only in two places where is enough place to stick brush. it seems to me that after putting on the fairing it will be completely invisible. even the details of the pilot's seat will be hardly visible.
