    Nice progress, Lis.
First I see that even the brand is marked on the tires.
    Great detail.

@johnb It was from AML decals set 🙂 also Hispano gun covers was from AML resin set. All dedicated for UP@? Spitfire Vc/Trop from 79 sqd.

PS. Before first coat of clear. think rudders looks ok in matt finish. I like MG ports, and stripes on Hispano barrels in red. Very hard masking.

The antenna looks great in black, my friend @lis!
and the rudder's finish looks superb - very realistic.
I can understand the hard masking for the hispanos' surrounding red...

@lis, the subtle difference between rudders and fuselage etc is spot-on! And what a stunningly accurate red stripe - good stuff.

Rudders look fine to me as well, Lis @lis
The masking helped definitely to get a great result.

    @johnb @airbum @fiveten Thank you!

PS. Spitfire after first coat of semi-gloss clear X-35. I think brightness of Super metalic was tone down, and shade was ok. Yesterday I was still working on the glycol cooler, where I found the alleged unevenness during painting. Of course, despite the fact that the unevenness has been sanded and fine painted, due to the material characteristics of the wings, practically any interference with sandpaper causes the surface, despite being properly painted, to be slightly different. I don't know what to do with it, whether to correct it for the third time or leave it. As I mentioned earlier, the C version wings were added to the model from a different injection mold and they differ in the material which is slightly porous. This has its advantages and disadvantages, you probably don't even need to use a primer (which I use, regardless of the model material, especially under metallic paint). also, finally, I have mixed feelings. Mr Color Super Metallic was the best metallic paint I have ever painted, although a bit glossy. He also caught the least unwanted fluff of dust. Despite this, I did not escape my mistakes and I have something to complain about.

To me there is not really something to complain about, Lis @lis
Your progress looks great, or I should better say, close to perfection.
All the paintwork is executed nicely.

@johnb @airbum @fiveten @gblair after setting decals in yesterday evening. Manial didn't have any informatons about setting technical markings. It drive me crazy! But after time (and one mistake), I found that in AZ Spitfire manual (AZ and KP is the same brand today) there was picture with technical markings, and number on my decal sheet is the same. Good bless internet! But unfortunetly I used one decal with sign "jack wheel" for VIII version 🙁

No big deal, regarding the use of “jack wheel” for VIII version, all is good!

She looks perfect with decals, Lis @lis
And yes, internet is really helpful for us modellers.
Don't mind the VIII version decal

    Looks fantastic, my friend @lis!
Ain't great that during modeling you sometimes loose track of time? 🙂
