A couple of months ago I visited the memorial site of Guy Gibson and Jim Warwick in Steenbergen, the Netherlands. Guy Gibson was the CO of the famous Dambuster group of which I build his Lancaster aircraft recently. Unfortunately Guy and his navigator Jim did crash in Steenbergen with their Mosquito after being shot by friendly fire. The location of the crash site and surrounding streets are still marked to honer those men. While searching for a Mosquito kit which I wanted to build in the scheme of Gibson's aircraft, I was able to buy a 1/72 Tamiya kit from Harm @hptiggelaar, thanks for that.
With the recent F86 Greek Sabre being finished, I will be able to focus on this great kit. One of my references will be the one presented by Scott van Aken on MM.
