Work on the main landing gear has started, quite a complex structure.

Good to see some progress JOhn (@johnb). The landing gear is off to a great start. As a former aircraft mechanic, I have to wonder at the complexity of that design and the amount of extra work to maintain it.

@clipper, thanks a lot, Carl. Being an engineer (electrical) myself I'm always interested in how technique works, especially when it looks complex. By looking at this structure maintenance will definitely not be easy.

Looks great, my friend @johnb! I agree with a second preshading round.

Landing is finished and attached. I had to thin the attachment points for the landing gear covers otherwise the frame would definitely not enter the bay.

That Tamiya Mosquito makes into a nice model, John (@johnb). I think you got the pres-shading just right now. Interesting thing about the fit issue with the landing gear.
