The colour of YZC looks great.
Yes, it really does! Great resurrection, I was hoping.
Thanks David & Bernard. Stripes are on, Future is too. Added some oil paint for the fuel stains and peeled off the Blue Grey on the wing roots.

That is a stunning looking beauty ! Good to seeing it in one piece, has your son signed the contract from Bayern München ?
Ooh... Cool.
Not sure if this would interest you or not, but when i painted the fuel filler caps and the sabre drains on the wing undersides, i used a Waldron punch to make very small masks from Tamiya tape. The sizing wasn't exactly perfect but certainly close enough for Government work. The red filler caps make a nice contrast to the gray airframe. I will try to post some photos of mine.

No call from Pep yet, Bernd. You must, David!
This looks like an excellent paint job. And nice recovery from the earlier mishap.
See: "A Goodyear For Corsairs" thread.
Greetings : Nice work on the cockpit, very nice work. That engine is looking good.
I LOVE the moment when the final flat coat has just been brought on. First it still looks shiny, but then, when minute by minute it flattens down, it brings all the paint detail out again.
Landing gear finished today.
