    G'day Erik,
The wing fit is a known issue with the Dragon kit, although, when I look at my notes from the last one I built, I think I had more problems with fit this time.
But, that is what modeling is about.
    Otherwise, I'd collect die-cast aircraft.

    Hi Michael @michaelt!

You did a lot of quality progress with the Dragon Me.

I like your tab reinforcement. I do the same, trying to avoid those un-natural steps that sometimes are created at such joints and are not the easisest to cope, pet alone the loos of detail.

Same about the tail locating tubs: apart from Tamiyas and most Hasegawas, I find myself enlargen them "just in case".

Great filling and sanding: the Dragon Me looks top already!

    Great informative pics too!

But, that is what modeling is about.

    Cannot agree more!

    Hobby Boss:
I'd previously cut off the solid wing tip formation lights on the Hobby Boss kit and here i added clear sprue pieces, with globes drilled out and painted red and green. I shaped then with a file and then sanded and polished them.

    Dragon:
As noted previously, I broke the gun sight off the Dragon so drilled a hole underneath and added some brass wire.

The three kits waiting for canopy masks prior to painting.
I've tacked the Tamiya and Dragon gun covers and the Hobby Boss fuselage hatches in place for painting.
I haven't added the engine intakes yet because I'll be painting them silver and then attaching them once I've painted the main camouflage on the airframes. I'll then camouflage the intakes as required.

That's great stuff, Michael @michaelt. I love seeing the three of them together!
I like the improvised navilights too!
    Waiting for your schemes!

Looking forward to seeing all three in their paint schemes, Michael (@michaelt). It may get difficult to tell them apart once they get painted.

    G'day George,
They will each be in very different schemes.
I think the main issue will be keeping track of each aircraft's undercarriage doors.

All three canopies are masked and painted RLM 66. I've a bit more pre-shading to do and I expect to have the under sides painted this weekend.

I didn't get as much painting done as I hoped.
Saturday was 28deg C with blustery winds and, as I paint outside, not good for airbrushing.
Today was 29deg, although not as windy, and I had a modeling club Skype meeting this afternoon.
I did finish the pre-shading after fixing a few seams and other blemishes that I had missed.
