Well it has been past the weekend so I am late.
Not much has been done but fiddley or what.
The U/C structs are fragile, as was the tail planes ones.
One of each was broken with on part lost to the carpet monster so that is to be added.
The locating holes and pins are small but positive.
    Now left to set.
    Next finish upper wings.
    Afterwards it`s masking and priming.

Is the project still alive Simon? My (then future) wife once tried to build an Airfix 109 out of curiosity (she would like to know that it was that I found so fascinating playing with pieces of plastic) but it was never finished. And she didn't find out what was fun either, which I think is part of the explanation for not getting finished πŸ™‚ . She did dolls houses and scrapbooking later so she found her hobbies anyway πŸ™‚ !

    Regards

    Magnus

Not being familiar with this type, I'll be curious to see the [completed] difference between the military/civilian version(s) re the obvious radical tail & fuselage comparison as shown in the two pics. It appears Rose had/has a "rebellious" streak, huh? I refer to the apparent self-applied tats. I have two myself (one on each upper arm) which I didn't get until late in life.

The project is still alive Magnus, just stalled due to this thing called life.
Rose enjoys the hobby as a way of relaxation, the same for me.
As for the differences Craig, only what you stated in so far as the build goes.
The rest as fat a I know is the same.
But be very wary any one.
This plastic is brittle as f...
I snapped the cabane struct while cutting off the sprue.

    Well folks, we `re back...
After fighting off the apathy monster, a little work has been done.
    Not much, but enough.

    First priming.

    Followed by base coat..

Hope to get more done over the next few days.

    Simon and Rose.
