I use paint but the effect isn't nearly as shiny as the chrome sprues have. Never used foil before, interesting thought, I didn't consider that before even I do know a little about the technique.

Final assembly was pretty straight forward. I decided to open part of the hood to show the engine and because of fitting problems due to the plastic being warped. This is also the cause of the four wheels not touching the ground equally. But that doesn't show too much. Pretty satisfied with the roof cover which needed an off black colour of some sort.

This kit would have been top some decades ago apart from some quirks in the design of it.
