I think yellow would be a good choice, Nikos @fiveten, it would really suit the Beetle.

@fiveten - as a kid, my brother and I always played Bug Slug when riding in the car with my parents. Whoever spotted the VW Beetle first yelled out Bug Slug and punched the other... ahh, good times. 😉
Yellow is a great color even if it does take a thousand coats.
