HI Everyone

Breaks in between painting Tamiya Beaufighter allowed more work on the P-47.
I have inserted the cockpit module and glued up the fuselage, cowl and engine.
Wings are next in line to be attached after cleaning up the fuselage seams where required.

Hi Everyone

Progress on the P47 now ready for some paint. Base coat will be Tamiya AS12 (De-cantered) followed by invasion strips to underside of fuselage. The NMF usually takes a few attempts to get everything right and I am a bit obsessed as well when it comes to my painting...

Hi Everyone
I have finished the base coat on P-47, finally satisfied with the overall finish.
I have done a mottle coat of rubber black as a precursor to OD anti glare panels.
I have also applied some slight colour variation to select panels with Alclad.
Invasion stripes to lower fuselage next on the list to do after the OD is all done.
Canopy also painted, plus wheels and UC doors etc

Hi Everyone
Been a while since update - I have spent majority of efforts of late keeping modelling room (garage) clean due to strong winds and dust from nearby construction site...
I have the P-47 ready for decals - a gloss coat has been applied since these pictures were taken. Should start having decals on the next few days as my other project (Tamiya Beaufighter) nears completion.
