1/72 Airfix Spitfire MK I with the 3-D Kits conversion…..
This is my recenly built Airfix Mk I kit witht the 3-D conversion kit to make a MK II. (the subsequent Airfix release gives you the Coffman starter bulge to build a Mk II as well). A very nice kit to build some may say the panel lines are too deep but I had a blast and it is a Spit so I loved it. the 3-D parts were great (seat, stick and starter bulge) and the conversion set gave me the chance to build an Eagle Sqaudron bird, so being from the U.S. as decals were included in the 3-D set that were very nice. this was very nice. So here it is:

Hi Geoffrey. It looks great and it sounds like you really enjoyed building it. I have heard a lot about the Airfix kits and it sounds like a good review from you. Not much of a hobby if you are not enjoying it while you do it!
