1/43 Penske PC4
Formula Models kit. Represents car driven by Danny Ongais in 1977 Canadian GP. The kit offered a decal for the stripes on the spine, but they didn't fit, so I masked and painted them.

Beautiful job on a small scale racer. They really pack a lot of detail in those 1/43rd scale kits. Nicely done!

Very neat work in this scale, a model of a car most of us had forgotten about.
So true, George @chinesegeorge. And Danny Ongais is often forgotten as well. I remember his drag racing career quite well; "the Flying Hawaiian" was a nickname, iirc.

I think the painted stripes on the spine do look much better this way than if you would have used the decals.
