The Prize…
Received the February model contest prize on Friday (sorry it took a couple of days to clear the horror that is my workbench when finishing a build). 😉
Many thanks to everyone at iModeler for the honor and a very cool prize!

I just picked this bad boy up myself and it looks VERY nice in the box. Can't wait to see what you do with this one Stan...if you can find a place to put it...LOL

Congrats,Stan...well done.
You really will want to get the Scale Aircraft Conversions metal landing gear on this one because the kit gear is "unweighted" and thus it will sit way high. If accuracy matters, you might want to cruise over to Britmodeller and check out the WIP page on this kit - some people are going a lot further than I would for accuracte outline, but then it depends on what you think is important. It does turn out that the engine nacelles are not the right shape in the rear, and it does change the look.
Once again warmest congratulations, very well deserved. My hobby table never looked this clean 🙂
Very much cleaned up for company... as to it's usual state- you don't really want to see that. It amazes me that I seem to need every tool/supply/jar of goo I own at the same instant. Chaos ensues... 14 different pairs of tweezers on the bench at once in less than 1 square foot of area... Where the HECK is the one I want?!... Found it after knocking over the lacquer thinner jar on top of the canopy... Modeling is fun, right?
