Trumpeter's Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat in 1/32 scale
A good one from Grumman & Trumpeter. This scale does wonders for detail enthusiasts who choose to ignore failing eyesight! I was able to add a fair bit of extra work here; engine pushrods, hydraulic lines, fill in rivets, plumbing, cowling actuators & new exhausts. Half of this stuff you can't see, but...Most of the work revolved around getting the wing panels to align & I will definitely learn from others' experience here & join inners & outers, then tops & bottoms! I'm happy with the result though; I enjoyed it & Trumpeter captured the stumpy, powerful look a treat. Hope you like it.
