Another Eduard Spitfire IX re-post
I just love it when I build a model and within days discover that nearly everything I did on it was wrong. So I took the model that was recently posted and re-did it into something correct.
If you're interested in the information that led me to do this, so you don't have to take a Mulligan on your Spitfire model, you might find my article at Modeling Madness of some value. http://modelingmadness.com/review/allies/cleaver/gb/tmcspit9r.htm
Again a few more pix here than got published there.
Hope this helps...
Very nice, Tom.
Have this one on my short list to build.
Re-posts and re-paints today! Nice work. Great article over at MM, and thanks for the heads up about the cowl several weeks ago when I was building it.
Yet another outstanding build, Tom. Your finish and weathering technique is simply suburb.
There are Cleaver Classics and now there is a Accurate and historically correct Classic. This kit is on the Bucket list made easier by a Spitfire experten who gets things right.
great model and post tom
