Another Eduard Spitfire IX re-post

June 19, 2013 · in Uncategorized · · 5 · 1.1K

I just love it when I build a model and within days discover that nearly everything I did on it was wrong. So I took the model that was recently posted and re-did it into something correct.

If you're interested in the information that led me to do this, so you don't have to take a Mulligan on your model, you might find my article at Modeling Madness of some value.

Again a few more pix here than got published there.

Hope this helps...

  1. Very nice, Tom.
Have this one on my short list to build.

  2. Re-posts and re-paints today! Nice work. Great article over at MM, and thanks for the heads up about the cowl several weeks ago when I was building it.

  3. Yet another outstanding build, Tom. Your finish and weathering technique is simply suburb.

  4. There are Cleaver Classics and now there is a Accurate and historically correct Classic. This kit is on the Bucket list made easier by a Spitfire experten who gets things right.

  5. great model and post tom
