1/32 TA-4 Aggressor
Hasegawa kit built mostly out of the box.I scribed it and only added resin seats. The paint was Gunze Mr. Color...I added blues and whites to the paint to get the right "pop" out of it...I was trying to match a photo. The kit is an easy build.
Thanks for looking,
Rob
Nice job, Rob...the Skyhawk wears that scheme really well - I like it.
Nice clean build, canopy displays draws the viewer to the model's finish, plane looks like something out of Top Gun!
a very nice finish. Clean and wicked looking at the same time.
beautiful job rob...nice cases
Thanks all! The cases are not mine...they were at the now closed AAA Hobbies in Atlanta, Ga.
Great. I like it.
Great job there Rob.
A refined finish, to a lovely build.
As above some great cabinets.
Rob,
Very nice build. I really like the aggressor scheme and you have done a great job to bring it to life. Very sad about the closed hobby shop. It seems it is happening everywhere.
Nice jet Rob. I see the 1:32 is your preferred scale also. Can I compliment you on all your builds, but in particular the AV-8B. Absolutely cracking build mate! Are the trumpeter Harriers as inaccurate and difficult to put together as I am lead to believe? I plan on doing one soon, just working on my skills a bit first! I'll probably attempt the GR7 though. I have many fond childhood memories of them flying over my home town!
I will say this about the harrier...the fit is pretty darn good assembly is not an issue. The problems I faced kind of go away with the later variants.
There are several builds on the net of the GR7...there is far less to change at least that is my understanding.
There are lots of replacement parts around the web...cockpit, wheel wells, scoops, seats, photoetch, someone did some pylons. Honestly I think it is a pretty good kit I just picked one of the more difficult versions. Let me know if I can help you out when you start the build.
Rob
Thanks very much mate, It could be a while before I get one but I'll let you know when I do. Cheers
Very nice work here.
Maybe an 'easy build', but you've done a good job, Rob, adding just the right amount of extra detail, and concentrating on getting the right colours.
Thanks for all the comments.
