Revell 1/72 Boeing X-32A JSF
JSF – Joint Strike Fighter From what I’ve read, this is what $331 million dollars looks like. According to the instruction bio, Boeing was awarded $662 million for two of these experimental aircraft. IMHO this is the ugliest jet ever made, or at the very least, the ugliest jet produced in model form. Apparently it was all about design ideas… I did a size comparison (for Craig) in the last pic. Now that I see it, I wonder why Revell did a model of it, and why I purchased one…lol

Ugly indeed! Nice build of an apparent bottom feeder.

And to think, we bought the F-35 over this? Imagine all the enemy pilots shot from the sky while they were laughing (or puking)!
Great job of “polishing a turd.”

I’ve never even heard of this “thing” (OR seen one)…but thanks for the ‘byline’.

Definitly odd looking Joe, by the way the F 84 looks good as well.
Both are great builds and finished to your normal high standards.

The wing design harkens back to the golden age of the “Delta Dart” and “Delta Dagger”. As for the rest of it, looks like the Sabre jet got it pregnant or something, must be a reason for such a strange design…Oh yeah, nice clean build, Joe!

Joe,
Like Michael, I am still laughing at this thing. As soon as I calm down i will complement you on the fine work you did to build it. It’s like looking at the worlds ugliest dog. It may be the sweetest, nice’s, animal but you don’t want to pet it nor laugh at it. What processed you to tackle this?

Joe, I think I know why you bought and built this, you like something a little different, and, this is certainly different! However, as always, you’ve achieved a nice clean finish, it probably looks better than the real thing!

The X-32 flies because the Earth repels it. 🙂
Nice model of an airplane even uglier than the Blackburn Blackburn.

Now that is a weasel sucking jet intake if I ever saw one….
