Trumpeter 1/24 FW190D
Hi Guys here is my Trumpeter large Dora, not the greatest kit but been sitting in the stash more years than I can remember.
I did it in the scheme of Oblt Hanns Dortenmann I/JG26 with what I could use of the kit decals ( the fuselage balkenkreuz are not correct) as the two kit schemes were spurious to say the least.
Anyway thanks for looking and the last pic is of D9's in all scales.
Great collection, mate...now ya need a 1/144th scale to go with 'em (lol).
That's just some of em Craig there is more D9's on the shelves 😉 used to fly a 72" span R/C that I built in JV44 colours back in the day.
As for 1/144 it was bad enough doing 1/72 lol
Yeah, but just think...there ain't many parts.
True 😉
Right nice collection. I have an affinity for 190s and you just made me want to get another.
Cheers Paul
The 190s always look good, and this one is especially good. The finish and weathering are very convincing.
Thank you George
sweet collection
Thanks Bob
They look nice Andrew, I like the weathering on the 1/24 scale.
Cheers Simon
Being one of the few other people to build this kit, you have done a nice "save" one its faults and come up with a really nice model.
Thank you Tom, yes its a bit of a dog of a kit
Andrew,
Great job on a great airplane. I really like your collection showing off the various scales.
Thank you Frank
To round out that group photo try looking for 21 Century Toys 1/18 scale Dora. It might be hard to find as it has been OOPfor a while, but it looks alright on the shelf!
Hi Josh, yeah not seen that one in that scale before, thanks
Nice clean build(s). Perfect attention to paint detail and the "sagging" antenna is perfect. I've seen builds of this aircraft and the radio wire is taut with the canopy in the open position, you have it spot on!
Cheers Mike, yeah I've seen them builds too 😉
Very nice! You can tell you love Doras!
Just a little Rob 😉
