All those spectacular examples of talented models/modelers on display are but painful reminders of why I shouldn’t/don’t enter any shows. Thank you for taking the time to share your pics of this event. It is both enjoyable and inspirational to view and humbling to experience the fine work that is possible.

Well, if like Emeterio said, everyone is but an apprentice, then these seem to have been working harder 🙂
Just kidding. Personally I’m convicted that it is good for all modelers to display in shows, if nothing than because each model makes the entire show better. Plus all the networking you will be getting. Joining the contests for winning is another thing.
A comment from last night’s dinner discussion is that in a show like the one in Moson, no one can be safe to win, not even the best of modelers. So in a sense everyone is equal…
