Hi all... I just joined, so thought I'd show you some of my work. All I do is 1/48. Thanks for looking. First knew is a Special Hobby Martin Maryland in French and British colours. Fun as, to build.:)
Paul
Hi Paul and let me be the first to welcome you onboard. I hope that you will find the posting functionality easy enough.
The Maryland is an interesting choice of subject, and the chipping looks great. Interesting camouflage, did RAF fly operate these a/c with ex-French camo?
If I can make a suggestion, it would be useful with more pics to fully appreciate your work. iModeler allows up to 50 pics per article, and you can upload the files directly off your camera - all resizing etc. can be done automatically.
Hello, thank you. Yes the Raf took over some of the Vichy French aircraft. They simply put British markings on the unprimed French paint.
I have been trying to post more than one pic. For some reason, my iPad will only post one. I'm not sure why. I click on several at the same time, but again, only one seems to upload. Strange. Will work on it. Thank you,Paul..
An hour or so later... Sorted. Have more pics. 🙂
Some devices/browser may not allow you to select multiple pictures at once. In this case, you' have to upload one, then choose "Select files" again, upload another, etc.
You can also add more pictures to the article afterwards, by using "Edit article" button, and then uploading new pic(s) as required.
Welcome Paul! You certainly do some impressive work with a nice eye for finding subjects that are off the beaten path! I'm also a 1/48 guy myself, although I've been breaking lately with a few 1/32 kits of some of my favorite planes! (I just finished a Williams Gee Bee Z and am waiting for a nice day to take photos! I may do all my golden age racers in 1/32 and keep them separate from my main collection!)
Welcome to Imodeler!
