Hawker Hurricane lands on theatre roof
As a tribute to the French aircrew who served locally during WWII, this Hurricane has been displayed during the Tour de France visit to York. In case you don't know, the Tour de France is a major cycle race. Follow this link to see more... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-28070167
I would leave it thereā¦..very cool.
Saw this on the website George, I wonder why they cannot do this more often to celebrate past events.
That's fantastic. Just curious why on the roof? Is there a significance to that, other than it's " flying" that way?
That really looks good ! Thanks for posting, George.
Like it. York air museum is cool too, with their HP Halifax rebuild as Friday 13th.
