Dragon 1/72 Mig-15Bis Ex LR Korea, USAF
Build from the box in the nineties, decals applied by Cutting Edge
paint Xtracolor .
On 21 September 1953 a disenchanted North Korean pilot made a decision that changed his life and American history. Lt No Kum Suk flew a MiG-15bis with the tactical number Red 2057 to the American zone. He was offered $100,000 to defect and he did it.
I finished this kit in the markings the aircraft carried after escape at USAF Okinawa.

A unique and welcome build, sir...nice to see "something different".
Beautiful Mig 15. This aircraft was evaluated back in the US by Chuck Yeager. Well done!
Nice change-up, Pk.

Interesting subject, nice work.
Nice bit of history, well built, great paint job, I like the metal finish.
Jets from this era are very attractive, and this one is just that little bit different.
